Hi there, My parents in law are looking for a an english springer spaniel bitch puppy/young dog. Preferably in Scotland or the north of England.

She will be a home pet only but they are very experienced dog owners who have just lost their 14 year old Golden Retriever and miss the long country walks they used to take her.

Springers are generally very readily available - you could try getting in touch with the Scottish breed club, or failing that there's commonly KC reg ESS advertised in most papers.  Scot Ads was out today, they could have some.  Good luck!
