am just after a bit of advice, came down this morning went to let molly out (1 year sbt) no greeting from her just went and hid under the table like she had done something wrong ,other half and daughter then came down as they went near her she just turnt and went back to the corner. this is unlike her even if she cant be bothered to get out of her bed she will give u a look to say come here then its licks and lots of love.took daughter to school and have just got in, went over to her and nothing back under the table should i be worried or is this something they do. thanks

Now I could be wrong but I think this needs a visit to the vet, this sort of behaviour is what you would expect from a dog that was in pain or uncomfortable. Hope she is alright, but I think a visit to the vet un-necessarily is better than one visit to late.

Ah, well yes it could be either or both or nether, so still think a vets visit would be best.

yes last time my dog hid under the table  (most out of character) he had gastritis! good thing to take her.  I defo knew something was wrong because he also kept hiding between my legs and was very clingy to me and restless.

You will find that this is the age 8-12months that most SBT's get nervous of things that before were not a problem to them and usually in time they will overcome their fear. Our bitch used to have a fear of going into the river over the park we walk her in but now she will jump in without thinking twice and also for a while she was very submissive to any dog she met and used to cower down to them now she will stand up to meet other dogs.
