Don't know what sort of Staffordshire terriers you have met guest, but they are all very people friendly I would say more so than the Golden, so I am at a loss to know what has prompted your statement unless of course you are trying to cause offence :(

Think this might be another wind up merchant Jackie!  Well I hope so!
As a Staffie owner I can assure you that I still have a nose, and my girls have NEVER EVER shown the slightest bit of aggression, even when being attacked by other dogs!  Had a few run in with Goldies myself at work but would never come on a board and be so rude!

Sure you are right Rachel, no one who had ever met a Staffie could make such assumptions. Just felt I had to stand up for the breed, there is enough nonsense talked about bull breeds without this sort of unfounded nonsense.

Thank you for your contribution, guest. That was very helpful.

<no offence to any owners, i just hate them! whats to like!>

I'm afraid you have just offended many Staffie owners by that remark!  Do you judge all breeds of dogs by the individuals that you have met, and the dog's appearance?

<stafs you could cuddle one but ud probs loose ure nose>

First, you are not text messaging, shorting your words and intentionally misspelling them just looks silly on a forum.  Second, all the Staffies I have met were lovely with a very stable temperment.  I have cuddled Staffies and my nose is still intact!

Oh dear, I guess my nose is living on borrowed time then seeing as I have 3 Staffs and they demand cuddles! ;-)  I wonder if the Staffs who do PAT work also know that they should remove peoples' noses when they are being cuddled by all those strangers?

Hi Guest, It seems you like a dog that loves to have a cuddle, maybe you should visit my house! I have 3 dogs who love nothing better than to sit on my lap or to be draped over the back of my neck. Nobody could sit down in my house without being sat on & kissed by all 3 of them! My 3 children just love to be pinned down & cuddled by their dog's. They say it's like getting 'tangoed'.
What breed are my dog's?
They are beautiful, loyal, loving Staffordshire Bull Terriers!!

hi guest
well sorry but you have offended me.

and if you were to come to my house then you might loose your nose but only if they could lick it off.
:( :( :( :( :(

To be fair to the guest I don't think they have ever met a Staffie and are not really interested in dogs at all, they are just interested in starting a row, which they have failed to do so I suppose the next thing will be a complaint that we do not take guests complaints about our breeds seriously, don't think the Golden owners will be too pleased about this persons either as I would not want anyone who could speak thus of any breed of dog, owning one of mine.
