Hi everybody, just really posting this to introduce myself. I'm Ashleigh and have Saffie puppy, he is called Max. We have just mastered the house training, say a week ago. He is doing very well. We take him to the local field and let him off the lead and he is fine! He stays by our side the whole time! We are registering him at puppy class where he will learn the basics (to be honest he is half way there). For example, when he is walking and we come to a kerb we don't have to say anything, he just sits there until we are ready to cross.
Advanced??

Welcome,

It sounds like you have a very nice puppy that has some good common sense....and like you are excited to start obedience class. I think you'll have a great time. Congrats on your new pup.

Hi Carrie and thank you for your reply. He is just the best! He has been introduced to other dogs big and small. he is fine with them. He is bigger than some of the fully grown ones!!

Hi, Although he is full staff, he doesn't have any papers. So he doesn't have a KC name. I wanted to register him with kennel club but the breeder can only do it. He is a little bunder of joy and would definately have another!! They are very loving dogs. At what age do you think it will be best for Max if we did get another?

Hiya Ashleigh, I'm another Staffie owner - Molly and Ruby both reds.  Molly is now an old lady, she'll be 10 this Summer and Ruby is still a little baby.  Sounds like Max is really well behaved for his age - Molly was a nightmare until she was about 18months old, remember thinking we had made a huge mistake getting her, as she swung round and round off the clothes on the washing line! :)
Also, got Tizer, a brindle rescue lurcher!
