I have recently rehomed a Shar-Pei, his previous owners have said that he was not registered because he said the breeder told him that breeders are only allowed to register one litter per year, and he was the result of an accident with the parents and 2nd litter was produced in the same year.
I understand he did'nt have pedigree papers as such, but did have a birth certificate which showed his blood lines etc. I would like to have this certificate, but despite numerous attempts his previous owner said he can't find the paper.
I know it's a long shot, but the only information I have is that the Breeder used to live in Greenhythe ( I think that is in the North somewhere ) but may have moved now to the Isle of Sheppey.
I would appreciate any help from anyone, I love my new friend & just want a copy of his birth certificate as it is part of his history.

Think breeder meant you can't register two litters from the same bitch in a calander year, though think this has been changed now, unfortunately : (
