I would like to stud by bichon frise male. He will be a year old at the end of this month, Is that old enough? what should I charge the bitches owner?

Your best bet is to contact either his breeder or one of the Breed Clubs. Someone there would be able to tell you firstly whether he is a good enough example of the breed to be used at stud (only about 10% of pedigree dogs are good enough to breed) and all the health checks his breed requires. And at first you won't be able to charge anything!

Agree with the above but would add even if you are lucky to have a dog that fits the bill do not attemped to use him on a maiden bitch and if you don't know what you are doing make sure the bitch owner does, or you could finnish up with the dogs and/or yourselves being hurt. You will also need to learn how to choose which bitches are suitable for your dog and which ones to refuse.
