My dog has got a bone stuck in its anus, what should I do?

In the very slim event that this is not a WUM, get your dog to a vet NOW!

Would be surprised if a piece of bone got this far and then got stuck unless it has penetrated the bowel wall, get to the vet immediately.

I'm counting down till someone scolds you for being rude or stating the obvious, Jackie and John! ;) :D

Now I resisted the obvious comments JG, but can't believe it can be serious who would stop to post in a situation like that, but just in case for the sake of the dog I answered because IMO no one should attempt to remove anything other than grass, which we all do all the time.

I'm guessing that it's long odds that a bone would get this far and then get stuck but I suppose it is just about possible. That was the reason I posted as I did
