hi im looking to buy a st bernard, i would like some advice on the points i need to be considering, im aware they have some health issues, and also im due to look at one in the next week, problem is she has hind due claws left on, im sure these should have been removed, are they exempt from the show ring with dew claws (hind) ? she has very good breeding apart from this and is kc reg, i just would like to know what i should expect of a good st bernard any advice would be very much appreciated. thanks

The KC St. Bernard Breed Standard requires dewclaws to be removed.
