My bitch was mated 4 weeks ago this weekend and we are planning to get her scanned on Monday.  As of yet she is showing no signs what so ever of being pregnant - by way of change of attitude or appearance.  She is a large breed of dog and surely by now I would have expected to see something.
Are there any breeders out there who have experienced  their bitch showing no signs of pregnancy at this stage and have then gone on to be in whelp?
Any advice would be grateful - and I know people might say whats the point in worrying as I will find out soon enough!  Its just that this is the 2nd attempt at mating her and I am on tender hooks:)

one of mine last year was the same she showed no signs at all we had her scanned and they said they thought she had one puppy ....at 8 weeks i still wasn't convinced she was still running about being playful and no enlarged nipples no nesting up ...she had 4 pups still not quite sure to this day where she hid them LOL

had her scanned and we sore 5 pup's she was not showing at all the next day she started having pink nipples and you could see that she was carring.  she went on to have 6
