we have a 13 yr old spaniel that has had cancer for a while now she has been fine up to the last two days, she now is very lethargic and wont really do anything :(
a growth has come up in the last day on her cheek, and now green liquid comes out her nose.
we dont want to let her go, shes our baby.
but is it time to say goodbye?
Gary and Lucy Ward
lincs.

Going purely from what you say, it sounds like her time has come. :( It is a horrible feeling, being responsible for sending your good friend on her way, but as I was told by my vet "Better a week too soon than a day too late".
I truly sympathise with you.

How very sad for you, sure you are right, the time has come from your description and you are now able to perform the greatest act of love you will ever be able to. Lots of (((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))) I know it is a difficult decision but it is, in a strange way, a privilege we can't offer our human loved ones.

Oh golly, I know exactly what you mean - been through it myself!
With hindsight, isn't it a wonderful thing, I can now say that I left it about a month too late, because I didn't want to let her go.:(
I agree better a little too early than a little too late. So sorry.
