hope someone can give some advice until i can speak to the vet
my 6 month old shih tzu is going through her first season (she will be sprayed soon) im terrified she may have been got at by the local "hunk"
my neighbour said she saw him climbing our six foot fence about 5 days ago
if she is still bleeding are we safe as ive heard some bitches dry up after the done deed

hopefully she will be seen by the vet soon and if she is will she be able to be sprayed while carrying

It would have been best to take the bitch to the vet at the time she got out, they could have given her an injection. To answer your question, yes they can continue bleeding but I am not sure about having the little mite spayed when in whelp, it would depend on if the vet was prepared to take the risk. Make sure you now keep her in till she has finnished and for a few days after.
