Toby was sick at 6am this morning, he bought up a stone, he had his breakfast and he was sick again, he does'nt look ill although he is a bit quiet, do you think he has a blockage, if he is no better tomorrow i will take him to vets.
Heidi
Cant feel anything in his tummy, he seemed alot better so gave him a lamb roast and he is playing and running about as normal, so far he has kept his dinner down, but if he is sick again i will take him to the vets tomorrow.

Hope everythings well with toby :)
Best get him checked out anyway - just in case :)

Hope he is ok :)
Is his other end working normal?
Toby is fine this morning and yes the other end is working fine and its also normal no runs thankyou,
i was so worried yesterday, i have pet insurance but i would rather not have to use it, its horrible thinking they may be ill.

Just talked to the vet nurse, Toby is booked in for his yearly booster tomorrow so the vet will check him over then.
Heidi
It's a really good sign that he's eating. When Oscar had a stone blockage he couldn't eat until it was removed. Good luck.
Yipee, Toby has been checked by the vet this morning and he said he is fine, infact he is very healthy, apart from being a bit over weight so Toby is now on a diet, the vet said the best way is to give him no treats but to take out a hand full from his daily allowance of complete food and give him that as treats :)

I bought Toby a Chew n clean toy in Tesco, i thought if he cant have treats then i will buy him one of these, it has blue nobbly bits on it that are suppose to clean his teeth and gums, problem is when Toby chews it the blue nobbly bits come off.
Anyone know a good toy chew that will stay together when he chews it please.

Toby is a lab right?.... if you ask me there are no labrador proof toys! ha ha or if you find one let me know cos I have spent a fortune on toys that have ended up in the bin!
Hi Labmad,
Yes Toby is a lab, i know what you mean Labmad, Toby has lots of toys but many have ended up in the bin,
the only ones that seem to survive are Kongs and for some reason squeaky toys, he loves squeaky toys but never chews them, he seems to have toys he likes to chew and others like the squeaky toys he likes to retrieve with and those survive, strange i know.

hi heidi,
yes anything rubber survives with my henry but i have to confiscate some things off him because he will usually eat the stuffing out of them! yes henry loves squeaky, noisy, deafening toys too.
just changing completely but, can I ask you...does toby love to pinch things off radiators etc?? or the sky remote control is another favourite of his! or have i just got the cheekiest lab around!
Toby is nearly 14 months old so he is quite well behaved now, when i go out i now let him have the run of the house, how old is yours? when Toby was younger yes he did pinch things and chewed a mobile phone.

15 months! don't get me wrong he is not being naughty but playing in his own way. he just wants me to chase him with something in his mouth that's all. he can be trusted now alone in the house but when he was younger i'm not so sure ha ha
Cheeky little monkey :D
Tobys problem is getting excited everytime he meets someone new and when we go to the vets, like this morning, the vet was trying to examine him and all he wanted was a fuss  the vet didnt mind though, as he said he is still young.

oh Henry loves people too. He wants to be everybody's friend. I often think though if we got burgled (heaven forbid) that he was be licking the burglers and retrieving things for them to take! like the tea towel ha ha :-)
lol :D thats what i say about Toby, although hubby thinks that if anyone tried to attack me Toby would turn on them, mmm im not so sure,
