While I am in book mode, what is everybody's fave biography, I personally thought Michael J Fox's was brilliant, I grew up watching his films and TV shows and have found him to be truly inspirational.....
I have read a few biographies. I thought Martin Kemps was good i am psyching(sp?) myself up to reading Nelson Mandelas. I love biographies. Have u read the Dave Pelzer trilogy?

Hi Hayley
My all time favourite biography is not of a person but of a racehorse :) It's Seabiscuit by Laura Hillenbrand and its much, much better than the film :) I can thoroughly recommend it - it has everything; drama, pathos, skulduggery and triumph over adversity etc :) It's also extremely well written and an absolute page turner!

I've read the first Dave Pelzer book. It brought me to tears time after time. I've a friend who has the other two and is going to lend them to me when she's finished reading them. :( Could take a while, she says ;)

I love em and Boy George's 'take it like a man' is very good. I loved Frank Skinners book very funny all the way through, I always take one on holiday with me and find I can't put it down. Mind you last year I took ' The perfect puppy' as we were due to get Dicksy soon after we came back!

While you are in WWII mode :) - Sybil Hathaway, The Dame of Sark. A remarkable woman in a time gone by :) Sibyl, Dame of Sark by Barbara Stoney ISBN 0 9509360.
Another book - not an autobiography exactly, is - No Time to Wave Goodbye, by Ben Wicks (ISBN 0 7475 0377 X). It is a collection of the stories of young children evacuated during WWII - very moving :(

Angela's Ashes-the life story of Frank Mc'court. The book is so much better than the film, have got the follow up 'Tis but haven't had a chance to read it yet.
