cooked bones of any kind can be lethal to dogs.
But many people succesfully feed RAW bones to their dogs.
Its called the BARF diet, a search on google will give you all the info you need! :)
p.s dogs should always be supervised with bones.

Dogs should never be given
cooked bones, of any variety. Raw bones are fine as long as the dog is supervised.

My 7kilo shih-tzu's all get chicken wings,if they were bigger i would also feed carcasses, drumsticks etc. but they wouldnt be able to handle them. What you are talking about is another one of those myths that do the rounds :(

Hi Marilyn from Kent, I have seven rotties at present and they all have raw bones - marrow bones, rib bones and chicken carcasses, which are all fed raw. As posted earlier cooked bones do splinter. My oldies only have bones once a week now since they can get a bit constipated but the younger ones have them more often as they are exercised more. If you go to your local tradititional butcher he would probably give you a few bones which would keep your dog happy for a while.
