£600 I think is a low price, did the pup have problems?

The only ones that are low in price are older ones looking for new homes spayed/castrated
normal price from£1500/2,500.

That was what I thought, breeding is such a difficult time consuming affair I would be suprised to find a well bred pup under £1000. Having said that was watching the Bulldog judging at an open show yesterday and there was no shortage of them, 13 in the puppy class.

You have to be careful though at 600
There are tons of people advertising bulldogs and on ringing them you find
out they are American,Olde English bulldogs etc etc.
They average price now for a bulldog is 1800.

There was a recent ad in my local paper offering a litter of five bulldog pups for FREE ! due to family illness .
It did concern me as to where they would end up :( If the family need to rehome so badly would they properly rehome to the RIGHT
people :(
I Contacted Bulldog Rescue who had already been informed of the ad by NCDL and had three volunteers working on it but unfortunately all pups were gone :(
I do hope they have gone to decent homes and that the original owner was still concerned about the pups welfare rather than getting "rid" of them as quickly as possible :(

Hi Steph

made a mistake.
SHe is doing really well and has settled in so well Im gobsmacked
We are thinking of calling her Echo but for the last week has been called MAGGOT.
The stains are starting to come round her eyes sadly
Ive been told optrex, hibiscrub and sudocrem.
I will take a few side profile pics of her and email you.
How are you doing with your pups? when are they out?

If this appears twice, Sorry, I thought I'd sent it and it hasn't appeared. So here goes again.
Pups are Ok, can go out end of June but Tollerton will prpbablt be first for them, I have also entered them at Leeds (brave of me I know). Jodie has tear stains, having a water filter fitted this weekend, we have extremely hard water and this can allegedly affect staining. Optrex didn't work for us, neither did the Leo stuff from the Vets. Bud still has pink patches on his nose, we'll carry on with the 'herbs' and hope for the best.
The Incredible Limping Dog has officially retired. Shame he was so enthusiastic.
Steph
p.s. Echo is much better the Maggot - although it does have a bonus, she won't think anyone else is calling her!!! lol
K.C registered Bulldogs in my local paper about a month ago £450

I'm astonished at price of bulldogs! Our breed is in the region of £500-£600. I'd love to know what was the most expensive breed. I suppose it's just down to what people are willing to pay.
