Ive just booked myself and a couple of mates for an air brush tan on friday afternoon (after my driving test, scary stuff!)

Im a bit nervous now, do they work?
this is the one where they spray you.
ive got a wedding the next day, im a bridesmaid! - god me in a dress! - scary thought!

Do they turn out streaky, or nice and even?
any help would be great!

My friend had one the other week and she was really pleased with it.  I've only used one of these tanning booth thingys once and that put me off for life!  I ended up orange and streaky, but I don't think this happens if someone applies it for you.  Whitening tooth paste apparantly helps to get it off if it ends up anywhere it shouldn't.

I was going to use the booth things, but was scared about getting it wrong, so thought id play it safe and get a pro to do it for me!

I need to figure out what to do with my long blonde hair! lol

air brushed is a someone spraying it on to you with a gun , if you have ever seen airbrushed nails/ tatoos or even makeup youl know what i mean .  ive never done this before but ive heard the results is good as for the booth ive herd bad reports of splattered finishes  dribbly tan lines , let us know how it goes , mabe a shower cap would be handy not very cool but :P ;)

I understand that in the first 24 hours it can come off on your clothes ( you are not supposed to wash for a certain time afterwards.  you must ask the salon if it is advisable to have it done so close to the wedding.

well i had it done today, and im very impressed!
It looks very natural and will look devine with my blonde hair when its curled for tomorrow.
I look like ive been abroad for 2 weeks, well worth the money!

I did fail my driving test tho! :( :(

Carry on letting us know how well and long this tans lasting you :) its good to know ;) ive put st tropez on about 3 days im a bit annoyed with it , not the tone it usualy is its bit yellowey for my liking not too bad but i wouldent be happy putting it on a customer . so i think ill be writing to them , i dont know whats going wrong with there products lately a few reports of the same thing .

Look good, feel good ;-)  I was told to have a bath as cool as I could stand it and obviously don't have a good scrub.  Shame about your driving test though- but try try again :-)

lel thats very true,  second timers make the best drivers. I passed first time and Im a crap driver.  Even though Ive been in the motor trade for 13 years driven £120k cars etc, Im absolutely appalling.

day after the wedding, tan still looks great, except a little white patch on my chin, which i can touch up. Also quite a weird drip mark down the inside of my arm!- wasnt there yesterday!
wedding was beautiful, my cousin (the bride) started to cry, saying her vows then that set myself and my sister off! :P

One of the best bits was my friend brought her puli along, lucy - shes very sweet, she was all dressed up for the big day, and was in all the photos with me :)
It was quite worrying though, she wanted to jump up of my lovely dress :O.

No but it was a great day, really enjoyed it! shame bought the tan streaking on my arm, but hey, cant have it all!
