I thinking of setting up a business as a courier for pets, included would be dogs, collecting and delivering for owners.
for example if your dog was to visit the stud dog and you were birthing or watching your expectant dog ( or what ever reason you had )and could not get your other bitch to the stud dog we could deliver it for you and collect.

If you wanted to collect a puppy from another breeder the other side of the country and you had already seen the pup.

You were moving house and loaded up with everything from the kitchen sink you could have your dogs transported with us.

We would of course be insured and are experenced with dogs etc and this would be a bespoke service.

Do you think it would work and if not why? Be gentle ! !

I think it is a great idea, but I think that it would take a while for you to earn the trust of people, (not being nasty :-D ) to me my dogs are as important to me as my famialy as they are famialy, god i even panic leaving them at a kennel (even when i know the people spoil them).  I have had to travel pretty far to get my pups and sometimes just to see some pups it would be great to have someone bring them too me :-D 

depends on how much you would charge? also i think when you buy a new pup your taking it away from its mum so i think the pup will need to be loved and talked to in a reasuring and kind way. which will be difficult if your driving, unless you employ someone which will mean paying someone and then insuring them, a good idear is a pet taxi, which we have one in our town,   normal taxis dont like taking animals in there car, even more so if there big, i think you could have a good business to do with animals or something, if you change a few things round, you'll enjoy working for yourself, i do and its so nice being your own boss not having to answer to anyone, and not putting money into someone elses pocket, apart from your own!

i think you should get registerd so we can talk more, they certainly is potential, and we can swap buisness idears! and perhaps give me a spelling lesson.

I don't know how many responsible breeders would be happy with a new owner sending a courier to collect one of their precious babies....I wouldn't but then I'm not a breeder
