Hi,
Endorsements are something many reputable breeders put on their pup's papers to try to make sure they are not bred from willy-nilly. Most breeders are happy to lift the endorsements so that the new owner can breed from the dog and register the pups under certain conditions. Usually the breeder (in this case the mum's breeder) will want to meet the animal to make sure that it is a good enough example of the breed to make having a litter from it worthwhile.

I would be concerned that the bitch's owner didn't contact her breeder to ask for this to be done - and also that the owner of the stud dog allowed their dog to mate a bitch who has endorsements on her registration. It sounds very amateurish to me. You can probably get a better puppy elsewhere.

Breeders of the dog will want to know that the dog or bitch is worthy of breeding and that the required health tests have been done and were satisfactory, they will then lift the endorsement. IMO you are right to decline this pup.

could be that they couldnt beed from her unless the appropriate health tests were done and the breeder agreed to them being lifted hope that helps.
