Picked up Molly in m lunch break from the vets.  She has had surgery to remove her 3 biggest warts.  She now has shaved patches on her back leg, shoulder and chest!  Not a good luck, poor thing! :(

Ah poor girl, I bet she is feeling really sorry for herself. Plenty of TLC needed. Hope she recovers quickly. best wishes Nicolinena

Oh love her!! My bitch will hopefully be having her warts removed from her in the next couple of months.

What sort of warts are you having removed? My dog has lots, the vet says they are 'old dog warts' and not to bother about them?

What the heck is a wart on a dog? I've never heard of such a thing! What is it, a normal wart as a person may get? Why is it there? Do they come with certain breeds of dogs? I'm spazzled, I've truely never heard of such a thing.

A-w-w-w Molly. Get well soon.

My old Lab had a couple right on her eyelid very close to her eye. They came off...vet did a beautiful job. Now she has one on her chin. A-r-g-g-g

It's just one of those things. But I suppose like people they should be looked at in case they're malignant.

My old cocker spaniel (Jude) had a few warts removed last year, the only reason the vet removed them was,  they had got red and sore (think they got nicked when she tried to dig under the fence :-) ) they all healed up quickly :-D ahe still has a few but the do not bother her so we just keep an eye on them anyway get well soon Molly :-P

Just an update on the wart situation - wounds are healing nicely apart from her scratching the one on her shoulder, the buster collar is useless for this!  She had them removed because she is a hyper dog even though shes supposed to be an old lady and is always tearing around and under bushes, she was forever catching them and making them bleed.  Believe me she wouldn't have gone through the op unless it was necessary!
