Good afternoon - I work in a large community here in Exeter - we are holding a Revels Day in July and hope as part of the fun to hold a Family Dog Show.
I have lots of questions and would love any support or knowledge. Such as do we need a special insurance , what should we lay on - where can we get rossettes. etc etc

First things first if it is a fun day then you do not need a licence, if it is a companion show then you do. You will need insurance but the insurance that you are taking out for the whole event or that of the hall may cover you, I would check with the companies who insure these other things.

Over to someone else to answer the other questions ;)

Many thanks for such a quick response - I can now sigh - with relief. The event will be for 2 hours with the Family Dog Show for about 20 mins - the usual ie prettiest, handsome, cutest heinz variety etc. We do have Public Liability for the day - but never having been a human choosen by a dog - my knowledge is limited. So I appreciate any assistance I can get from my peers.
Once again , thank you
