Hiya my pups are now 26days old and they been eating puppy food since they were 17days old they also drink water they first started showing interest aswell in there mothers food and they never looked back they know when its meal time and sit there ready for the dishes which is so sweet.

Mind you the worming part when they were 2weeks old was hilarious as they kept sticking there tongues out wonder what the liquid was putin in  there mouth heheheh.

Hi
i gave them a little taste of puppy milk with puppy food and they all lapped it up
so will give them a little each day and then increase it , hopefully they will be ok as its still early
they seemed to really enjoy it as they can all stand and are changing every day:)
they have also started playing with each other already and tried to bark, also they are weeing and pooing without mums help,
was so funny listening to them and watching them play

As my pups were so large when born we started weaning them at 14 days.  It is really funny to see them playing.  Wait till they get to 6-7 weeks old then you can REALLY watch out.  They are into everything.  The funniest thing i saw was when all the family (mum, dad, and the two pups were sleeping in the basket)
dog pup decides he wants to play, okay no problem, he gets out of the basket, round the front of the chair, turns rond, sticks bottom in air, waggs tail, slowly creeps forward jumps, barks and misses the basket by about 4 inches :)  mum and dad look totally unimpressed and bitch pup opens one eye, rolls over and goes back to sleep.  Dog pup gets back into basket totally guted that his plan hadn't worked.

Keep on enjoying them while you can.

We have been raiseing the pups on pedigree puppy porridge, it can be used from 2 weeks they are now 4.5 and we are just in the throw of gradually changeing them on to the pedigree complete puppy food, they are doing very well on it, we are mixing a little of the puppy porridge in to the complete and will reduce it untill they are just going to be on the complete. we have had no upset tummy's or runny poo's., they settle well on it

We began weaning around 2 weeks as well.  Daisy had such a large litter, we had to!  She wasn't going to stand for 14 ravenous pups for much longer.  It took a good 3 weeks to fully wean them though.  Some were quicker than others.
