im soooo excited, my girl has started sowing signs of giving birth!! she spent most of last night digging up the bed, didnt eat any tea or brekkie this morning, she is on day 62 today, so fingers crossed! the little toad has dug up all my new plants aswell, bless her!!
one thing i wanted to ask is although this is our 4th litter, im pretty hopeless in remembering things(!) can anyone tell me if a mucus discharge is normal? i noticed a bit earlier, and vet would like a look even tho its not coloured??
any advice would b appreciated!
thanx for now,
chel

Hi Chel,
I'm no expert, but would of thought the discharge to be normal.
My bitch is on day 57, like you we've had a previous litter, but have also forgotton. I'll be on here in a few days asking for advice myself. Keep us informed on your bitches progress, and good luck.

hiya again, well i think weve finally finished, or at least slowed down!!
we had to take holly in to the vets as 2 hours of straining after her waters had broken, she had a sack with fluid visable and that was it, so vet advised us to take her in,
surprise surprise - en-route she had the first pup! that was at 6 o clock, now we are up to seven, 5 bitches 2 dogs all weighing in at 13-14 oz, with no visable problems!
for anyone interested in seeing them, i am about to post some piccies on my website!
speak to you all again tomorrow, maybe with an update if there's any more!!

just delivered number 10! well about 30 mins ago, i thought he wasnt going to make it, but after a few minutes of intense cleaning he came around, his breathing is still a bit 'raspy' tho,
anyone have any experience of this? holly had got to the stage that she couldnt physically do much more! she did clean him when we put him infront of her though,
from a very tired chel!!
and possibly a more tired holly!!!!

Lovely pictures, well done Holly and Chel!
Congratulations! Wow that last little lad is a hefty chap!

Congratulations - the pups look gorgeous. Just had a look at your website - I used to have a golden retriever/border collie cross, and the photos of your one brought back memories! I've got golden retriever pups due in a couple of weeks - I hope mine goes as smoothly as yours!
