I have been searching the country for a Landseer bitch puppy and hopefully later this year (all being well) will be the pround owner of one. However, just today I came across an interesting cross - a Newfie and Malamute. I spoke to the owner and this happened by accident, his dog malamute got in with the newfie bitch, and hence puppies. I know this is by no means a 'Pure Breed' but I think that these dogs are gorgeous.  Has anyone out there heard of this cross before and if so, is breeding a possibility?  I must stress that I am devoted to my Landseer bitch.

At the end of the day it's just another crossbreed.  Personally I have never seen a Newfie/Mal X and I'm sure they are nice looking dogs but I don't think there's going to a new breed called the Newmal somehow!
