Just thought I'd ask all you clever chaps if there is any specific aftercare I should now give to my dog who has been castrated today!  i.e. diet, suppliments etc.

Dont let him anywhere near an in-season bitch for a good few weeks! Been there, got the tee-shirt and paid for the injection to the bitch in question afterwards! (lol). They never mentioned that at the vets, and i learnt a lesson very quickly!

Dont think you really need to worry about anything, other than avoiding too strenuous exercise until the stitches are out.

They recover pretty quickly, much quicker than a bitch being nuetered, and the last poster was right, they reckon about three weeks before they are infertile!
