Do you not require a stud who has good health test results,been shown and/or worked to prove he is a good example of the breed,and who has compatible breed lines to your bitch or will just any dog do as long as its a welsh springer? A good breeder does their research and is willing to travel the length of the country for the most suitable mate for their dog.... Archer
.... or even Wales! First place to go should be your breeder (if reputable) who should be able to tell you if your bitch is of sufficient quality to be bred from & what lines are suitable. Also contact the WSSC for knowledgeable advice on the breed. There is a lot more to breeding than just finding the nearest male.
