It is not legal to breed American Staffordshires in the UK.

Some one in Birmingham has them and breeds them and has a Tosa and breeds cross breeds from these two breeds i have photo's of the Tosa.

Why is that JG, is it because they are classed as of the pitbull type? If so does that not apply to the ISBT too?

According to the lawyer Trevor Cooper, who specialises in defending dogs 'accused' under the DDA, the American Staffordshire is regarded under law as the 'show equivalent' of the pitbull, and is therefore banned.

Thanks JG that is what I thought, but not sure if I agree if his 'show equivalent' = show quality, have to say that I have only seen photos but the conformation seems less than desirable, would want to see a good few in the flesh before saying any more.
