(sorry for having to come in as guest again but all i can do at the moment???)..... just wanted to say thanks to those people who replied to my previous post. i saw the lady and her samoyed today and she understood why i couldn't take him. While we chatted i mentioned the advice about contacting samoyed rescue and she seemed to take it to heart. she really does want the best for him and is only letting him go because her older dogs have gotten too ill to cope with a giant baby! so hopefully there will be a happy ending after all.

I'm so pleased you told her about the Samoyed Rescue club.  They will be the best place to look after him.  As I said in my previous post, I would of gladly took him on if I were back in the UK.  We were looking for another Sammy last year.  In the end we purchased a Malamute.  I must admit, I don't know if I could have coped with two Sammies!  Once they get going there is no stopping them!  At least now I have 1 completely mad dog and 1 placid dog.....they kinda balance themselves out!

I'm really glad you took everybody's advice.
