Hi i have just recieved my certificate today and hope someone can help to explain it
Health Screening
KC/BVA schemes
DNA tests

SIRE Registered name ******* ****
Titles
KC/BVA Schemes
DNA Tests

and the same for the Dam does this mean that no health tests have been done on either although the breeder said they had been

If the dog has been tested then the results would appear on the registration certificate.

There are two eye testing schemes in operation, the European will not appear but the KC/BVA will. In any case you should have seen the parents certificates, most breeders will offer them to you to look at, or even give you photocopies with the pups other documentation. Get in touch with the breeder again and ask about it, it's a valid query.

On my bitch's KC certificate it says;

Sire etc etc

KC/BVA Schemes:   Hip:(04/12/2000) - 7/7

Dam etc etc

KC/BVA Schemes:    Hip:(05/07/2000) - 0/2 

So I would assume that yours have not been tested :confused:  My pup's Sire's hip score is not on his KC certificate but he's an import and I know he was tested under a different (not KC/BVA) scheme in Germany and his are fine too :-)
