For the last few days I have been taking my six week old pups for "walks" either into the woods or paddock depending on where my geese are at the time.

This morning we went into the paddock but one pup decided to explore further and went into the woods without my noticing as I was watching his siblings playing in a muddy puddle.  Next thing I hear a squealing from the pup, hissing from the geese and the noise of an enraged gander - Maverick and I ran in and separated them so what did the pup do after Maverick had seen the gander off - go and investigate one of the geese thus prompting the other gander to have a go at it.  Having seen a gander kill a rabbit I decided at this point to put the pups in their run as this pup was not going to leave until his curiosity was well and truly satisfied

I did have a camera but was too busy to use it - typical!

Last time I washed them and got soaked for my trouble - this time I waited till they were dry and brushed it off :D  One of the benefits of a short coated breed
