the dog was still on there at 8.00am this morning, but just checked again now and it won't display the page, so hopefully it has been removed.

It is still there at the moment.
At 9:52 it was still there, at 9:54 the "seller has ended this listing early as the item is sold" Either the poor dog has gone or the seller thought that the best way to end the listing after the complaints.
The error page probably came up earlier because ebay do admin on their system on Friday mornings and some of the site becomes unavailable.

The seller has replied to my email saying that he didn't know it was not allowed and he has taken it off. He hasn't commented on my advice to contact BC rescue so he'll probably get sold in the freeads anyway. :(

It is so sad border collies get such a tough time I did a post recently about the amount of bc in rescue

Thanks everyone, I emailed him last night, but only just got round to check the computer 1.09am saturday morning, I got an email from him saying he had just joined ebay and did not know it was not permitted. Still no excuse a dog is part of your family (or should be) and you would not put your granny up for sale on ebay
