on average how many pups can a pug have and do they have difficult time giving birth

Any number from Zero upwards, they often need C sections, and in my personal exprience most of them dont want much to do with raising the babes, so if considering it you have to be able to be on hand 24/7 for at least 3 - 4 weeks.
