Could someone please offer some advice. We have a 11 month and 11 week old cavaliers that are fed on science plans natures best. This is proving quite costly and although that doesn't really matter is there a cheaper alternative. Both arrived with us on beta which gave the eldest loose stools and flaky skin so we swopped her to natures best. The pet shop did say natures best was the best one to have as its all natural but that can't surely be try.
Can someone please offer some advise/suggestions/anything!!!!! Thanks

You will find that everybody has their favourite, I agree the Science Diet Natures Best is extremely expensive I looked at it myself but decided against it.
I use Burns Mini Bites with baby pups and then add Burns Canine Extra as they grow, but I have golden retrievers so they need the extra. What I like about Burns is that they are always at the end of an email with advice. Like any food when you change over you do it over a period of five days. You can order over the web the food and it comes the next day virtually.
Try their web site www.burns-pet-nutrition.co.uk

Hi there
everyone will have a different opinion on what to feed them, i have seen lots of posts about Autarky, i think it is a natural food, at the moment i feed my dane on Royal cannin, however i feed my spaniel on skinners (rough and ready) i have spoken to skinners and they advised that the field and trail puppy (somtimes mixed with a little chicken etc) is suitable for a dane puppys, i am sure they would give some advice, it is also vat free as it is working dog's food, so more resonably priced it is difficult to find a food as there are so many but even my old dane was on skinners and my little pup is changing over to it after this bag. they have a web site http://www.skinnerspetfoods.co.uk/ happy hunting :-)
