I found a grey hair this morning, it is the second one in a couple of months. What does this mean and what can I do about it.

I gave up looking about a year ago and just dye it all now !!!! and i am only 31!!

first of all you did not find a grey hair you found a white one. :D

This means you are getting old.  This is not necessarily a minus uness the words "boring" and "fart" are place before and after it. :D

there are several possible courses of action.

1 Shave your head and no one will ever know (unitl your eyebrows go)
2 Dye your hair an impossible colour
3 Wear a wig
4 Bleach your hair so that it all goes white at the same time
5 wear a hat at at all times

or.............................

Use it as an excuse to eat a rather large box of Thorntons. :D

I like the last suggestion best, that seems a good idea to me.

Do not pull it out -  5 more will come to its funeral. Pick up the phone and speak to a sympathetic hairdresser. Make an appointment to get your hair dyed every 3 months for the rest of your life. Enjoy :D

I have long red hair and it doesn't dye and I don't go to the hairdressers as they just want to cut it off, they don't seem to like people with hair nearly to their bums and get very annoyed if the scissors don't get used. I think I like the Thornton chocolates idea best.

Ohh don't worry about it, mine started going white at 22, bit of a family thing my gran was completely white by 40 by dad by 21.  I'm 43 now and still very trendy according to my adult children coz I've got broad white streaks either side of my head, seems some pay good money to try to get my look every few mths lol.

I pull mine out!!...yes I know you shouldnt but it stops my accepting of the horrible truth! they seem to come all at once..I pull them out(yes it hurts - LOTS) and then none rear their heads for a good couple of months..(they are cowards)...I really cant be bothered dying my hair all the time!!! BORING!!! im 28 by the way!!..hubby thinks its really funny..he has a few greys but isnt bothered at all..MEN!

when i was younger i refused to eat, as a result my hair fell out, when it grew back grey hairs were amongst it i was 4/5 at the time getting ready to start school.

When a few more grow,as no doubt they will,you could just tell people you have 'designer streaks' :D
