Hello!
I have a virus called ''serverXXX'' which has been on my computer for about a week now and i dont know how to get rid of it! I always delete it but it always comes back up  It starts off in a box with a naked woman on  and then signs me off the internet when im on it. We have ''sophos'' which is a virus checker but that seems to be doing nothing. It told us we had a virus called ''natchy bee'' which we deleted but since then this has come up  Apparently quite a lot of people have had it and if your on a modem it adds loads of money to your phone bill so watch out for it. Can anybody give me tips on how to get rid of it?
Dont these internet geeks have anything better too do then make viruses  Im getting so frustrated about it!
I hope someone can help me :(

Hi Hubby has said the only way he could get rid was to leave it all open ( any excuse ;) ) and run AVG, once complete go to add and remove settings in control panel and delete from there. But you MUST leave it all open while running the virus scan!!
Hope it helps
Kelly

Glad to hear you are using AVG, but you need to download spybot search and destroy as well as  as spyware blaster. AVG wont totally clear it, spybot will, and spyware blaster will stop it coming in the first place.

You also need a good pop up killer such as the one from panicware.com  if you need any more help please feel free to ask  xxxxxx
