when is it safe in a dogs pregnatse. its just that my marly is naw 4 weeks she is fine i just wonder thats all. . Kath ps i do know that it can go wrong all the way threw i meant in the mischarge way.

I think the only safe time in a bitch's pregnancy is a few days after she has whelped and you know for sure that all is well

Hi, presuming a bitch stays pregant until 42 days, this is the optimum time when a bitch can re-absorb the feotus's and end the pregnancy. So from 40-45 days pregnant be careful she does not have any sort of fright/stress/trauma. I keep my bitches at home for those days and not take them out for walks or in the car if they are bad travellers, certainly no long/tiring days out. If a bitch's envronment is not "right" for her, she may re-absorb the puppies.
