We are a family looking for a companion for our 4 year old Black Lab, Digger. Digs is KC registered and a very handsome labrador but to us he is simply part of the madness in our family of two young boys. We have a loving home with literally hundreds of miles of walking on the South downs out of our gate - plenty of swimming on the beach and fishing in the ponds and streams. If you know of anyone able to offer us a pup around that time (we cannot pay top money but are willing to pay for a puppy bred and reared in a home environment) please contact me
on 01903 893385.
Thank you

If money is an issue I would avoid buying a chocolate puppy. They regularly seem to go for at least £100+ more than blacks & yellows (of far superior pedigree)
I've nothing against chocolate labs, but if you look at the pedigree of the majority of them they so often seem to be devoid of any dogs of any note (working or show - whatever floats your boat!). Supply and demand means that their price regularly exceeds that for the other colours & many breeders know that they will have much more saleable pups if they use ANY chocolate stud dog on their chocolate bitch than if they used a much better (black or yellow) sire.
Sorry but i was quiet offended by your remark on choc labs, maybe i am lucky enough to own a choc girl with an excellelnt pedigree lots of well known SH CH & Ch in her pedigree, and i would never put her to any old choc dog just to get a litter of choc puppies, i will be taking her to a really good quality black lab that carries choc and that will do the pups justice.
