I recently had a diesel leak from my car and it has left a horrible mark on one of my neighbours drives! I promised i would clean it up but dont want to go buying all the products under the sun when something simple will get it up. Does anyone know or have an idea what i can use to get this mess up with? the drive is concrete. thank you very much for any ideas in advance!!!! kate.

First try cat litter graduals, brush it well into the stain and then sweep up, then wash with a strong detergent. Or go to Halfords who sell a product that is designed to do the job, don't know what it is called or your local garage may let you have a bag of the product they use on their floors.

thank you - work at a kennels and cattery so am sure they'll let me have a bit of cat litter! if that fails i'll try the garage that fixed the leak -after the amount they charged me i think they owe me some " cleaning up stuff"!!!!

You can also buy online.....
Tough Products Look under the 'In The Garden' section

thanks Melody - found a product called oil and drive claener that i'll try if the cheaper ( and easier to get hold of ) ideas dont do the job!!
I have found that a good scrub with bleach gets rid of oil stains, (I have block paving) should imagine it would do it for diesel too.
