I have a cavalier king charles spaniel and i want to show him, i have looked at the breed standard and i think he is good enough to show.On the breed standard i read nose must be black without pigment and nostrils must be well developed,my cavalier's nose is black and well developed but when you look inside his nose he has a small flesh mark inside his nose. One of the nostril has a flesh mark about the size of a baby nail on your baby finger, it is small, but his nose and his nostrils are black it's just the inside of the nose which has a small flesh mark right inside the nose, will this be a problem for showing?

Thing to remember guest is that the perfect dog has never been born, all dogs shown or not have faults, it is just that some have more and worse faults than others. Those who come nearest to the Breed Standard and have that impossible to describe thing 'presence' should be the ones that win.
Only way to see how good you dog is would be to show him, all judges understand the standard differently but over a few show you should get a feel of how good the dog is. It takes years of owning a breed to know if your dog is to breed standard and have to say when you do learn to look at your dogs without emotion you are apt to think they are rubbish.
Sure the pink inside the dogs nose will not even be seen ;)
