That is about the only way unless you know the judge, but unless it was your dog or you were personaly involved they may not tell you anything.
Oh that's dreadful, I would imagine the dog could be banned for a biting incident. I did hear a little about it, if it's the same show I'm thinking of, the judge had to do a long drive back home, and has a nasty bite/ tear wound to her hand. Was it on Easter Monday?

The show secretary has to keep an incident book and should report the matter to the Kennel Club, but sometimes the judges do not report it or if they do they tell the kennel club there was some sort of reason and it was not the dogs fault. The kennel club looks at the individual case and may just warn by letter or ban the dog along with any offspring.

It was quite an eventful show wasn't it! One of the toy exhibitors tripped in the ring and went to hospital too, with suspected broken ribs.n And someone mentioned at training the other night that a dog had been attatcked too! :(

Hi,
Was the show at Hurworth, as I was there and a lady fell in the ring, she seemed to have hurt herself, but she seemed ok when she got up. I did later notice an ambulance though.

Sorry to take so long replying - Easter Monday was Dunstable open show.
If you are a member of any breed clubs the judge may be included on the judging list that most of the include with their year books etc.
You could always send her a "get well" card or one of those cards that does not have any message already in it as a "hope you are ok".
