Hi All, I have been reading this board for many months and my bitch whelped two weeks ago and its been a great source of information (thankyou).

Could someone please tell me when to remove the whelping rails as I have noticed my largest pup is now starting to get wedged under them. I worry about removing them too soon as she is a first time mum.

Many Thanks
Lilly

I would take them out now, if the pups are growing as well as that. I usually take them out after 4 or 5 days as the babies are that much bigger and tstronger, and mum is less agitated about them.

Thankyou for that I am off to do it now.
