hi everyone, while out walking suki this afternoon unknown to me aa coupke of workmen had just painted new double yellow lines on the road,as they were just put down they were still very hot and suki trod on one of them with her front paw.She yelped a bit and the bottom of her paw was bright yellow, she limped for about 5 min after but now seems to be ok.My first reaction was to rush her to the vets, but the most of it seems to have come out.Im just a bit worried now incase it gets infected in anyway, can anyone reccomend anything good to clean out her paw just incase.

hibiscrub (sp?) is what we use or dialuted dettol or similar, anything you have the the cuboard designed to clean cuts and grazes
thank's ice queen,my wife suggested some sort of dissenfectant, diluted, but i thoght i would check on here first......just goes to show,a woman is USUALLY right!!!!

USUALLY ?? I think you will find a woman is ALWAYS right :p
blondebird88,that normally is the case in my house, lol
If the paw hasn't blistered and there's no broken skin you don't have to wouldn't worry about infection. Hope your dog has recovered from the shock.

Yes
if its not blistered or anything you could try Sudocrem as its an antiseptic cream.
