MY 9 MONTH OLD STANDARD POODLE IS VERY OUT GOING AND SCARED OF NOTHING BUT SHE TENDS TO SALIVATE EXCESSIVLY AND IS SICK WHEN TRAVELLING BY CAR ,ANYONE WITH ADVICE ON HOW TO CURE THIS PROBLEM AS WE WOULD LOVE TO TAKE HER ON A SEASIDE HOLIDAY?

There are alsorts of reasons why she is doing this - to cure it you could try ginger biscuits, putting her in the foot well of the car, making sure there are no fumes likely to upset her, a few drops of DAP on a piece of cotton wool placed on a hot water bottle (this is a cumulative effect and you may see no difference for the first few times), don't feed  a full meal before travelling, put her in a crate in the back of the car (if you have an estate) and cover it with a blanket, there are also homeopathic remedies.

Keep taking her out (doing all or any of the above). Don't stop because she's being sick. Try to take her to places she'll have good associations with - like a short car ride, then a nice walk or to visit people she likes. Try to avoid journeys that involve a lot of stopping & starting or bendy roads (not easy, I know!) as they make it worse.

She may well grow out of it as she gets older. You could try 'sea legs' they seem to work. Try not worry about it,  if you are stressed that she is going to be sick it will make her worse.
