Dear All

I have a scottish terrier who is 6 years old male and i would like to breed him, i have never done this before and would like to know if anyone has any advise as to where to contact people who would be interested. Eddie has all his papers and this would be his 1st time so any help or advise would be great appreciated.

Many thanks

Why do you want to use him for breeding? Has he had all necessary health checks & do you know the health history of his ancestors? 6 is old to be embarking on a stud career. First step would be to contact his breeder - assuming that they are responsible people, knowledgeable about the breed. Also contact some of the breed clubs listed at the bottom of the page here Ask yourself why someone would use him rather than a successful, proven sire and if you want to live with possible behavioural changes is he was successfully used.
