many of you will know that after all of your advice i decided to apply for an affix, which i did, i posted the papers off on 30th March, and according to the KC, they have still not received them! :( . I am now having to cancel my cheque and fill in more papers and resend them. The postal service in this country could not get much worse! so much stuff gets lots these days.

Just wanted to get that off my chest :)

You may be right but there are 3 elements to this transaction you, the PO and the KC. You know you did your bit but it could be either of the others.

i have phoned the KC twice now to check if they had arrived and i was told no on both occassions, so only thing I can do is resend but by special delivery this time!!

PO is getting really bad!! i always at least add my address to anything I send so its got 2 address it can possibly go to!!!

Sometimes think using a pigion/owl would be better!!!  Once im back at hogwarts everything will be fine...LOL

i did consider that, but being end of term and not there, we are strictly forbidden to use magic, so had to use muggle tactics, prefer the magic though! ;)

yes I agree, maybe we need to cover the whole envolope in stamps...that got hand deliverd by the postman!! ;) LOL

If you are going thru the Oxford Post Office they are on stike and have been
for 3 weeks now.
So any mail with an OX post code or any persons living in an OX region aren't
getting any postal services.

should be going through the Swindon PO as we live in Melksham, Wiltshire so should be ok, still going to cancel the cheque and resend.

I would hang on a bit longer.  Last year when I registered my litter the KC hadn't received my papers after two weeks so I sent them again and they had processed the payment from the first set of 'lost' papers the day before I had called.  They then processed the second papers and I paid twice.  Luckily they quickly sorted it out and refunded me one of the fees.  I think that maybe there process involves more than one person so there is margin for error.

it does, if has to firstly go to the Billing dept, then onto the affix (or which ever you require) dept. Both Departments have been checked twice now, so if there is a duplication then they can refund a payment!! they have told me to cancel the first payment themselves.

i am sending the puppies papers off next week and will send them by recorded delivery now, at least i can cheek when they got them

well i am not telling any1 my picked name for my affix (but 1 preson that had a quick look in the affix book for me :D) cos i dont want to jinx's (SP??) it lol
and i am having trouble picking names lol

try a theme, we already have ideas for the pups when we have them, you could try movies or music or places etc for pups names. :)

Send them recorded for an extra 75p approx and you will know they get them.

i have now, posted them again yesterday by special delivey, they will get them today by 12pm at the latest!!! cost me £4 but it's worth it to know it will get there! :D
