hi all
i will be sending the puppy papers off soon (as soon as i think of there names lol) but i wanted to get there eyes tested soon, do i have to wait until i have there papers back or can they be eye tested before. i know from getting the mam done that they have to have there KC number to have the eye certificate is it the same for the pup's. and when is the best time to have them done like i said they are 5 weeks 2day
thanks all
Hi Natalie
I've replied to this twice now but my posts keep disappearing :(
Get an appointment ASAP - my pups are the same age as yours and I booked my apt. before they were born as I knew I would only get one chance at the right age for one of the local monthly appointments. They can be done between 5 - 12 weeks as a litter.
If you have not got the KC certificates for them yet you should take copies of the sire and dam's certificates - a photocopy of the sire's is generally acceptable

As Christine says, litter screening is done on the parents registrations. You can get it done straight away.
Best wishes, John
