CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ON HOW TO GO ABOUT SHOWING MY NEARLY 1 YEAR OLD STAFFY BITCH. SHE IS FULL BLACK/BRINDLE AND A GORGEOUS DOG, AND I WOULD LIKE TO SHOW HER.IF ANYONE CAN HELP I WOULD BE GRATEFUL.MY EMAIL ADDRESS IS zoe@stennett13.freeserve.co.uk

she will need to be KC registered to start showing at Open/Limit/Champ shows
Pop along to your local ringcraft so you can see how she needs to be stood/handled/walked etc and its as easy as that :)

If your dog is KC registered then you are able to show at any KC licences show in the Uk. The best way to start is to go to some ringcraft classes and if your dogs breeder shows tell them and they should help you learn the ropes. But most ringcraft classes will have a Staffie so they will help you get the way of doing thing right, Staffies are shown a little different to most other breeds

Think the classes are a little more relaxed and not so strict as maybe other breeds ;)

Just out of interest, what is the difference?

The most obvious is the fact that they are shown to the judge with the head forward (as are other head breeds) but most others are show in profile.
