Thanks everyone for your replies to my post 'vaccinations'.As I said,Frankie was vaccinated at 8 weeks and was booked in again for the 2nd at 10 weeks.
Considering the other problems I have had with this vet and that pups breeder advised that he had his second jab at 12 weeks due to late weaning amongst other things I requested a change of appointment at the vets and was point blank refused. I have been to see another vet( with the vaccination card from the first) and she has agreed to take over the vaccination and future treatment of my dogs. Unfortunately she will be having to start the vaccinations again due to the first vaccine only covering 2 of the 7 viruses that are supposed to be vaccinated against.Pups breeder said she suspected this would be the case when I had told her what was written on the card.
As tempting as it was to get the 2nd vaccine done at 10 weeks so that Frankie could get out and be socialised it looks as if he will just have to wait till venturing out into the big bad world!! (gets carried out but getting too heavy to be carried for too long!!)

Hay Ho Nikki, the best laid plans of mice, men & show dogs, can be messed up by a stupid vet. At least you will have more confidence in your new one.
