Where is the cheapest place to buy a dog kennel and run from?

Have you thought about making your own?  Do you know any tradesmen who could do the work cheap?

Depends what you are looking for, do you want timber, steel or brick, does it need to pass an inspection from the local council, are you going to house your own dogs, other peoples dogs or visiting bitches?

Friend got a couple cheeper the price in shops off of ebay, but has been looking for a long time.

friend of ours is in the process of building one for her own dogs, just simple wood frame (gets wood from B&Q) and then wire fencing again B&Q and puts it all together!

If it is for the household pet to be poped into whilst you do the shopping then a timber frame with wire may do but that would not pass a council inspection or be suitable for a visiting bitch for mating, or housing a dog when a bitch is in season.

We brought a Neaverson kennel and Run over ten years ago (the Fitzwilliam I think it was called) and its still as good as new. Although not cheap they do last a very long time and you get value for money.
