would like to know already have a staff bitch of 16 months old , we are after another one as playmate want to know if it is best to have a dog or bitch staff

Hi Aaronlazza,
Most people would advise you to get the opposite sex of what you already have, as there is less chance of any fighting problems.
Some people say 2 dogs will fight, others say 2 bitches are worse.
I do know of someone who has 2 males who have to be separate all the time, as one would kill the other.
But I know a few people including myself who have more than one of the same sex, who get on perfectly well.
One of these people I know has 9 Staffords (dogs & bitches) they all live indoors and get on great.
But saying all that it depends on how experienced you are of the breed. If you don't mind what sex you have it obviously would be best to go for a dog, then you wouldn't have to deal with the problems if they do arise.
I have 2 bitches and one dog, And soon maybe another addition if I decide to keep a pup from my bitches litter (when they arrive).

Dont for get that you will have to make sure the male doesnt mate the bitch at each season un les you get her speyed the male will go nuts with every season.
