hi all, have had computer trouble so have been unable to have my daily fix on cd.just to let u no how molly is doing, went back to new market for check up things improved a bit (flaking and loss of hair) they decided to do an allergy test came back 2 types of dust mite and clover, shes still on antibiotics and now piriton 3 x a day ,bath once a week ,and antibiotics for ears as they r really dry.trying 2 get 8 pills in her throughout the day is a nightmare as she is only aloud the biscuits they gave us ,mash, bannana, peanut butter and she hates them all.if anyone has any ideas of how to get them in her would be gratefull x x

Have you been informed about indorex?  I have a friend whose dog has a terrble dust mite allergy and she sprays her whole house with this and the results have been brill.

I'm lucky all my hounds will take most tablets as if they were a titbits, but if there is one that they reject I either cover it in butter or mould cheese around it. You can just poke then down her throat but 8 a day is a lot to do that with. Mine will all take Piriton.

I have an SBT Molly too :)  She is a greedy little pig and just shouting boney or sweetie before you give them to her works the trick as she thinks it will be something nice!  With my other dogs I use the same trick as Jackie and smother them in a bit of butter.

hi thanks all for your replys, will have to ask about indorex when we go back on the 22nd,as for cheese she does like it but isnt aloud any , its been so hard not giving her any little bits of food that we have it would be so much easier to get the pills in her.she is on eukanuba for the time being which the hospital gave us am a bit concerned as she has been loosing weight, the vet just said oh thats just normal due to the food she is on. maybe i just worry to much x x
